No more base closings at the moment. It's an Army War College but still a base. They have rooms but they're only able to be reserved 3 days out. Not a good idea for us.

I was hoping to be able to attend this show but we have a bunch of people off the entire week of the 4th of July already. Very unlikely i'll be able to attend

I see your point. Is there only parking garages? I thought the garage parking was extra.

We have a little more time before committing to reservations. I just wanted to see if there's any other possibilities.

Claude, you've stayed there, any place to plug in? Is there any parking near the 1st floor rooms / windows?

The only reason that I stay at this place and only this place is because it has a parking garage! This garage I personnaly saw the police drive thru every hours. I asked why and its because its also the court house parking garage lol. I did not see anywhere to get power from? But I personnally will not stay anywhere but there and if I coudl not stay there then I will not be going to carlisle!

Claude, Paul doesn't need to plug in since he's putting a big Alt. in his car that will charge the battery in 15 min at idle. Can you give us the name of the Hotel where you stayed and a phone number so we can contact them? Thanks

Thanks Claude. I'm calling them this weekend. I would suggest if any club members are planning on staying over night you will want to make reservations real soon. All the hotels book up pretty quickly once spring hits. Anyone else interested in staying at the same place?

I will be booking a room today at this hotel. I will be calling for my military discount. Claude, what was your rate?

I guess back to the Marriott for us. Paul what did you pay last year with your Military discount? If we want to stay at the Comfort Suities next year we should make res. this year.

I do not think the Marriot has a military discount. I can check again.
